A pretty neat trick to know about shadows and materials in Sketchup, I see it being useful for dioramas or plan cuts. What are your thoughts?

Cool. Don't remember the last I actually learned something new in SketchUp! This is a bit too hacky for me personally. Maybe Trimble will get their lazy ass to add a proper visibility property tab to SketchUp somewhere in 202..

This works until I select any scene, then it turns solid black sadly
