You got ripped. I've seen some going from 200-300. And they were boxed brand new. If you were gonna sell that you'd have to sell it for the used price which would be less then what you paid for.

I own this edition complete in box. My heart was set on the Majora's Mask golden edition, but I was disappointed how the interior was plain black. In the end I decided to buy the Pikachu edition new 3DS XL. I loved how it had a unqiue yellow pastel color. The color continues inside the console when you open it plus it's the only edition that has the famicon colores buttons. Originally this edition was going to remain a Japan exclusive but Nintendo had several units remaining, they decided to release it to the West as well.

It’s worth it for the US version, arguably. They’re available in abundance in Japan.

I bought a Galaxy n3ds xl off a guy who was moving or something for like $50. It had a messed up circle pad that kept reading left inputs regardless of position (could technically get both L+R inputs somehow).

I figured I try replacing it myself since I heard it was fairly easy, but I underestimated how easy it was to break the little clip that holds the circle pad ribbon cable (I also might have messed up the top screen cables, but I couldn't really tell). Luckily Nintendo still offers repair services on New 3ds XLs, so I figured $100 for that would still be under what the console would normally go for so I might as well.

They got back to me saying that it couldn't be fixed and that didn't have that specific kind of n3ds xl as a replacement, so, and I shit you not, they offered me the option to just pick from several other special edition n3ds xls that had.

First thing I did was look up how much they all went for, just in case one was just stupid expensive, but the top ones were all around $400 to $500 range, so I just went with a Samus Edition one since I'd actually want to keep that.

The amazon listing also comes boxed up with the documentation still sealed. Unwrapping it does drop it to $300 but even then you could buy a broken one and swap out the shell/buttons for like $150 on aftermarket stores.

Bought a slightly used one for 200 plus some games like 3-4 years ago. Sae that it skyrocketed theses last 2 years but will probably hold onto forever

That one is cool but the pokeball 2DS XL is cooler because the design is actually “textured” like you can actually press the pokeball button on the back of the top screen, it doesn’t do anything other than act like a cool fidget button but it’s cool nonetheless

While I totally support finding great deals on somethin, What I dont really support is reselling what you got for a great deal and jacking up the price to sell to someone else. But I do lo e the content you make cause it gives me hope that one day I might find some gem in the wild like you do
