The concept of utkrish coaches was good. Railways tried to modify the ICF coaches & make it better for passengers, But the LOL thing is this scheme just ended up with changing the colour of the coaches🤦🏻‍♂️😂

Only a few people know who were born 90's or before that once upon a time the color of indian train coaches used to be pure red and seats used to be wooden only and only one side seating was available. Seats in buses and trains, in general coaches too, used to have numbers although sometimes it was followed and other time not, in buses seating according to numbers was quite prevalent. And this is the pure nostalgia.

Age of ICF coaches are generally around 25 years. After 10 years of use coaches will be taken for regular maintenance and comparatively facilities will be increased and to identify the difference, yellow colour paint is applied on blue coaches and named them Utkrisht.
