Diplomatic Insights on South Asian Peace. The host for this show is Hamzah Rifaat Hussain. The guest is Abdul Basit.

This discussion is a one-on-one segment with one of Pakistan's veteran diplomats who served as a High Commissioner in India on the prospects of peace between the two nuclear armed countries. Since 2019, relations have been on a downward spiral, and the Press Release from the Pakistani Foreign Office released in April 2023 underlines misinformation in the lead up to the Pulwama Attack and the subsequent aerial combat which threatened strategic stability in South Asia.

The conversation with Ambassador Abdul Basit encompasses revelations on the Pulwama attack, the Kashmir issue and whether dialogue can resume between the two arch rivals.

Answer is no from India as long as Pak Army controls everything in Pakistan without having any accountability.
Secondly. Now, India thinks Pakistan is no longer that important as country from which India can get anything in path of progress of India -be it technology or education or in the field of science. Pak can't contribute to India. Isn't it ?

The laughable and foolish understanding of the Kashmir issue by the veteran diplomat is the basic reason the Kashmir issue is not resolved till date nor is expected in near future.... till then Pakistan can have have a good time going

Great discussion and great demonstration of shamelessness !!!
After attacking india 4 times directly and loosing each time, the aggressor himself is tucking tail like a meek stature!!!
Kashmir is India!! Each Indian knows that- part of it is being illegally occupied by Pakistan currently, but not for long!!!!

Mr. Basit is as is always has a very hawkish view when it comes to India. From India's view point, I believe, India has always has this view that whom do they talk to in Pakistan. The civil authorities are not in control. Never has been the case. How can a civilian government in India talk to the Generals. And if there is peace how will the Pakistani army justify their size, spending, their commercial enterprises? Obviously, Basit is either oblivious of these facts or just trying to fool the world. In short, there cannot be any peace as long as the military calls the shots.

Fool host Satyapal malik didn't say it was archestrated by Modi but was lack of Governments support to army. Modi took advantage of it . He never said it was not Pakistan supported Terrorists.

Stop peddling lies. Malik only said, he asked for air planes to ferry CRPF troops. That doesn't absolve Pakistan from the terror attack in Pulwama.
Also, why was he silent for so long? This is nothing but Malik's frustration, as he has been sidelined, due his nefarious activities .
Pakistan is on the verge of collapse, economically, socially and politically.
