I was in a theater sitting next to a family last week, and their 9 year old son said "wait, that's not Captain America". But what does he know, he's just a fan with common sense.

I haven't watched anything Disney since Endgame. Turned out great.

Should have left Falcon as Falcon and Bucky as Bucky and developed a great buddy cop concept. It could have printed money like Logan and Deadpool.

Bucky was robbed, and then deballed in that falcon/winter soldier show. All in the name of dei. Falcon was a fine(as a b-tier) character. The shield was never earned the way it played out. Another mcu film I won't be wasting my time on.

They showed the trailer in my showing of Deadpool & Wolverine. The happening followed: I flipped the trailer off at the recast joke and I cried "Stan why?!?!" when Giancarlo Esposito showed up. Not to mention, the trailer had subtitles. *FOR NO DAMN REASON!* Disney is fucked next year.

The only thing I disagree with this take is Cap CHOSE Sam at the end of End Game. He chose him for what he saw in him and knew about him. What ruins it for me is unless Sam takes the serum, he's just an in-shape guy doing all these things and not being injured. To me that's the bs call.

They took so long they cant keep up with the fluctuating political trends that they're determined to pander to - more dishonest film making.

Marvel made the choice that people don't go to the movies for actors. They go for the characters. Then they turn around and hire back RDJ and briefly bring in Giancarlo Esposito. At this point they might as well bring back Chris Evans as an alternate Cap. Maybe a Hydra variant and Sam can spend a whole movie trying to turn his friend around.

I've never felt connected to Falcon, and I even tried to watch his series. I love Daniel Bruhl and got bored and never finished. What made Roger's Capt was his little guy fighting for what was right and earning his place to be transformed with serum. He's a boy scout and I need someone who was like him, Bucky could have done it. I basically still after all these years know nothing about Falcon other than he knows how to use military wings to fly.

It's a shame he can't act his way into being an old white guy
like the character actually was in the comics...

Sidewinder is cool. His comic suit is crazy. Esposito is a great actor most of the time, but he seems 30 years too old for this kind of role.

Chris, the journey you've described for Sam happened in Falcon and Winter Soldier. The problem's not that that story hasn't been told, it's that half the audience won't have seen it.
