If you are on night shifts your employer is treating you as a cheap labour. Switch that company first.

1. Completely avoid a tech company which doesn't use appropriate project life cycles and has no idea of the market requirements.
2. If your manager asks you to do sales work along with your tech work leave that company immediately.
3. Observe how your tech lead/project manager understands the project . If you're asking them genuine questions and they are not able to respond them correctly or are ignoring them, then start considering either to switch the project internally or start looking for possible alternative jobs

1. Managers who accept more impractical work without considering limitations of tech team
2. Managers who consider team member as a mere "Resource" which can be used to put to work anytime (night shifts/weekends/overtimes)
3. No specific roadmap in your current role for your career to shape further

Almost similar kind of things happened with me in 2018 from British Telecom.

Majority of IT companies now days are expecting IT staff to multitask, so many task at once and they have tight time constraints with it, causing a feeling of being overwhelmed or being stress, if it gets to excessive

How you start is how you finish? Take note of how a company treats you while on boarding. Develop a niche skillset and don't be afraid to leave for something better.

Pavan it's quite normal to have a second round of interview with the client, but salary re-negotiation sounds very fishy..

I joined capgemini at a very good pay. They rolled out the order post 2 rounds of client interviews.

After I joined the company, I got to know that the project I was hired for just got scrapped & client interviewed me again for another project which seems to be bad (Donkey labour sort of). I am able to crack the technical interview with client…now suddenly client want to have an another round of managerial interview…in which they rejected me for almost no reason.

I am on bench since 2 months…no project nothing. Even the RMG/HR doesn’t respond to my msgs/mails.

Offshore company which are in India, there management never support their coworkers problems like lack of skills, working overnight as they just need to complete onshore company (most of them are US based ) requirements.

I think if they are coming to India just their work goes with less cost & great skills then meanwhile Indian offshore or management teams also have some monopoly over them.

You spend in dollar & we earn in rupees definitely it’s unfair 😂

This is exactly what happened to me when I interviewed with TechM. I passed every round of interviews and was informed everything about the company and the "possible" project I would be working on during our first team meeting.
I was informed up until that point that I would receive my offer letter from the company very soon, but after two days, I still hadn't received one. I asked my HR department about it, and they informed me that they could only handle the XYZ package, which further soured my suspicions about what was going on with these large MNCs.
I'm afraid to think about what will happen to the other small-cap enterprises given the state of the large multinational corps.

Do you have any idea what you are talking about ?! There is no company in the world where all these red flags non-exist. Either of any of these red flags will be there in every corporate companies. The corporate world is messed up!

Hello sir,
If one has pursued an MBA in HR from India from a tier 2 level university and has 5 years of work experience, will SHRM certification help if he aims to settle down and work in the USA or Canada. And what can be other international working opportunities in the HR domain. And will I being a male restrict number of international opportunities ?? It will be helpful if you can give some valuable inputs.
