I saw on your X-Arcade 2in1 (PS3/XBOX) adapter review that you would like to use this on your Sega Saturn. There are two ways you can do this, but you need to start with this 5in1 (PS1/PS2/GC/Wii/DC) adapter. You can either go with the Tototek PS1/PS2 to SS adapter which leaves you with a strange button layout, but lets you have the ability to swap either the D-Pad or Analog Stick controls to the X-Arcade joystick controls. or you could go with the Raphnet Technologies PS1/PS2 to SS adapter. The Raphnet Technologies option leaves you with a far better button layout when you select the "Mapping 2 (XA)" option, but you lose the ability to swap the X-Arcade joystick controls from D-Pad to Analog Stick controls. Also if you add a Total Control 3 SS to DC adapter in conjunction with the Raphnet Technologies adapter or the Tototek adapter you can add VMU support when you hook the X-Arcade to the Dreamcast which the 5in1 adapter alone doesn't offer.

You could attach wheels to that thing and turn it into a skateboard

@Ruinah If I'm not mistaken you can buy an upgrade kit for your hotrod and use the x-arcade adapters. It cost $49.95 at xgaming.com --> It's called "Hanaho Hotrod Joystick Upgrade Kit"

It's listed under the "arcade parts" section. Double check with them directly to make sure.

@billybobjoe198 Yeah no, the prototype models for the Playstation were called PSX, it just kinda stuck after that. It is true there was later (much later) one that was primarily used for video capture called PSX, but like I said, the prototype models of the original PS were called PSX.

@searcher5123 Psone is a slim version of the first Playstation, and the PSX is a rare/limited manufactured Japan only Multi media Playstation 2, which recorded DVDs, and had photo viewing software. It was also the codename used for the first PlayStation after the Super Nintendo CD project was scrapped, and Sony started to work on their own console.

@AskMeddi I use a Madcatz SFIV joystick and swapped out the stock parts with Seimitsu parts(Certain Sanwa parts work as well) The Tournament Edition comes with Sanwa parts in it to begin with, but it's a much larger controller(like this X-Arcade thing) and has a higher price tag. Once you've either gotten a TE or changed the joystick and buttons to Sanwa/Seimitsu on the regular fight stick you've essentially end up with what Japanese arcade machines use.

I bought the HotRod SE joystick many moons ago, and made the mistake of losing the cable for it. I *wish* it had adapters for consoles so I can re-use it....

@DeltaPhi79 Yeah but the PS1 was called PSX(codename) before the PSX(recorder ps2) was even released... >_>

i havent noticed any input lag using this adapter, but i've never known a tankstick to not have to be opened up at least once to correct some problem with its initial assembly so i guess anything is possible

Newsflash, the PSX was a japan only version of the PS2 that had a built in hard drive. Such as the current gen Xbox and Playstation do. But it was intended for video capture. I hate when I hear idiots go around spouting PSX PSX PSX thinking they know what they're talking about.
Only US Market Sony home consoles have been
PS
PSone (The equivalent of a slim, and you could buy an LCD screen that attached to the console)
PS2
PS2 Slim
PS3
PS3 Slim

No one used the term PSX for a PS

The X-Arcade has input lag when using the adapters, which people who play fighting games notice very easily.

Does anyone know if this can be used to control Atari 2600 with a Tototek Mega Drive/Genesis adapter?  Someone asked me as I have the adapter, but my X-Arcade stick is out of commission and I couldn't remember if I had that working or not...
