How can a CCP law give legal backing to a territory that the CCP never held?
According to non-CCP history the CCP has never held Taiwan (Though they did try to take if from the ROC once and were defeated.).

How about the US make a law that all territories that were held by the US are once again US territories.
Do you think Japan would just bow and give back Okinawa?
Do you think the Philippine Islands should give up their sovereignty and say “Yep, we are no longer our own country, but now a part of US territories.”?
Hells, do you think the CCP would give up it’s claim to Taiwan (The US did hold Taiwan for a short time after WW2.)?
