The way the machines calculate the votes is like this. Normally one vote equals a vote worth 1.000…. The machines change that. Dems get like 1.25 points per vote, and it gives republicans say .75 points per vote.

By incorporating a thum/ fingerprint onto the PAPER ballots this accomplishes several things!
1) eliminate one Person voting multiple times
( If the same print shows up on more than one ballot, that proves fraudulent ballots )
2) You eliminate the need for a photo ID
3) If used in conjunction with a serialized ballot You
not only know how many ballots were in the system, but where they were distributed.
I'm sure there's more, but I think this is enough to give You the idea .
