Crock Pot - Pork Tenderloin slow cooked to perfection

Cooking a 7.5 lbs Pork tenderloin via a crock pot. It takes about 4.5/5 hours on high and 8 on high for super tender meat. The meat can then be used for various dishes or by itself.

Don't forget to save some of that tasty broth for cooking rice/quinoa/couscous in to add tons of flavor.

-onion
-red skinned potatoes
-carrots
-sea salt/pepper/thyme/rosemary/ground mustard/paprika
-garlic
-lime juice(citrus of choice)
-Apple Juice/Cider 2-3 cups
-fill rest with water

If you haven't tried it yet, i highly recommend searing the pork in a pan on all sides and then slow cooking it. Really licks everything in.

Doesn't putting the vegetables in at the start make them over cooked and mushy ?

So some recipes say cook low for 2.5 hours and others say 6-8 hours on low. Why such a differential

that is not a tenderloin it is a pork loin. much tougher meat. the tenderloin is the end cut off the loin but the meat is more dark and has more of a fat marbling. you can see the one end of that loin you cooked with a slightly darker end, this is where they cut off the tender loin. Tender Loin is usually about 1 lb of meat and maybe a foot long. The rest of the loin can be up to 3 feet or longer and tends to be very dry and more white meat.
