Having dated a girl from a very wealthy family, coming from an upper middle class environment myself, it was still a huge shock to me. The door to the mansion was so fancy. I was afraid of breaking it lol.. I was a bit intimidated but I was treated well and loved greatly by the family.

Although they had a lot of very nice things, land, houses, etc, they did have family drama and struggles in that department. They also all worked because they enjoyed it and it kept them busy, even though they never needed to.

So no matter what class you are born into, it comes with a unique set of pros and cons, and no matter how wealthy, we are all humans at the end of the day.

-Security
-the opportunities to give back to others

When I was a kid my mom made $6-8/hr and my dad made $10-12, which back pre 2010 wasn't awful but was pretty poor. So I always wanted to make $20-25/hr because I wanted $1000 per week. I got this straight out of college and I was "happy" for a few months. I bought all the things I wanted as a kid but after a while I stopped feeling happy and felt alone. I'm way happier now because of self help, but the loneliness is still what gets me down the most. To me more money can only buy me more opportunities to experience life and meet new people.
