Was diagnosed 18 years ago. My thyroid would change from hyper to hypo to hyper. I was in and out of hospitals. This video is by far the best explanation of what has been going on in my body for almost two decades. Thank you!

My 12 yr old daughter was diagnosed in May and I continually search for information! She is now Polyglandular with Coeliac, Hashimoto's and PAI. Thank you for the most thorough explanation I have found. You include the "What if?" and the "Why" and this is the information I've been looking for!

I got diagnosed with Addisons over 8 years ago now at the time I kept having dizzy spells because of my low blood pressure until a doctor noticed my skin was darker then usual and was in severe pain and decided to get me sent to NHS thankfully everything feeling okay the fatigue is hard to deal with but videos like this make it so informative to new Addisonians

Greetings. One of the things you did not mention is that addison's can manifest together with the symptoms you mentioned, with abnormal salt cravings. Another thing, Addison's can manifest itself in children as well as adults, although these often go undetected for long periods of time due to the relative rarity to the disease and few cases. Just some non-vital extras.

Thank you for posting this video & raising awareness for a condition that is often missed/overlooked in sick patients. Your video was clear, concise, easy to interpret & fun to watch because of your AMAZING visuals. Keep up the awesome work for helping inform medical professionals & patients alike. Thanks again!

I say this because I experienced misdiagnosis after misdiagnosis, until finally I received the primary adrenal insufficiency/Addison’s Disease due to being in a crisis. I had heart failure, SVT, bowel paralysis, intractable vomiting, malnourishment, dehydration, major electrolyte imbalances, delirium, anxiety & severe pain. After spending a month in the hospital, I was deemed “stable” enough to transition back home under the eyes of my home health care RN & primary care physician.

After experiencing what I did, I’m very passionate about sharing my Addison’s story to help raise awareness about it. I’ve loved reading below at all of the comments to fellow Addy’s patients. 🦋

If you are ever looking for a patient perspective, I’ve posted a handful of videos sharing my story in more detail as well as other videos showing how this diagnosis has changed my life & the way I live day to day.

*Side note, I do have a handful of other autoimmune conditions & diagnosis related to my PAI. My uploads do include my cares for my other “rare” medical issues.*

I am trying to get my Dr to get me tested for this, I was born Intersex, for a long time now I've had low blood pressure, , osteoporosis which has got worse, no libido, salt cravings, no energy, I often faint, I also have low immune deficiency, I'm ill most of the time.
I've been tested for Thyroid, Diabetes, liver function, kidneys, everything is normal. I seriously think I have Addinsons, I'm tired of being ill all the time.
