I always wondered how to align the peg holes on scanned 2D drawings. TVPaint makes it so simple! Thanks for going through the process step-by-step. Thumbs up!

I had a question about TV Paint 11, and it was a question about the price, I went to the site and selected my country (which is Italy) I had selected the standard version, I selected 1 as the quantity and the price is 500€, below it says that if I'm a professional, I have to put my VAT number, and then 110€ is added and the price becomes 610€, since I'm not a professional and I don't have a VAT number, it means that I only have to pay 500€?

You should make a video on Krita 3. Currently it's the only open source competitor to TVPaint. It's probably the best free 2D animation software available.

I wonder if you can do good inking in it, with good old line values like toon boom actually has? and most art software.

Thanks Aaron. I've been hoping you'd get around to this, ever since suggested it to you on FB a few months ago. :)

I see that TV Paint seems to be even more practical to work with full animation than ToonBoom, which focuses more on cut-out animation. Even so, I'll need to animate using regular A4 sheets of paper as major scanners has an A4 scanning surface.

Aaron, thanks so much for these videos. Two questions on this one: what resolution, or pixel dimensions, did you scan your drawings at? Any advise on a good, meaty size to aim for to allow for reframing your animation once it's in TVP? Question two: is there anything in TVP that will get rid of the paper crinkle shadows on your drawings?

What about shading your colored drawings, how would you do that in TVP?

I've scanned an animation and put it into TVPaint, sadly the image quality decreased. Is there any way to maintain the quality of the original scan?
