Aaron Blaise is an animation feature film director and wildlife artist.

For 21 years Aaron worked with Disney helping to create some of the greatest animated films ever made. During that time he worked as an animator or supervising animator on "The Rescuers Down Under", "Beauty and the Beast", "Aladdin", "The Lion King", "Pocahontas", "Mulan" and more.

In 2003 he was co-director of "Brother Bear" for which he earned an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature Film.

Thanks for sharing this, Mr. Blaise! I think I gleaned more from just watching you draw out your keys than from many other hours of watching animation tutorials! There's lots of software out there that can do what TV Paint can do these days, but watching your drawing process and how you construct your drawings was very helpful to me!

So amazing, your skill and work is fantastic. I studied classical animation back in the early 90's in Ireland. But my career took me down the flash route for TV. While this still involved a lot of drawing and classical animation as well as manipulating semi statics, I've been wanting to relearn and re-hone my drawing and proper classical animation skills. Looks like this is the way to go.
