Most people see the word "HYBRID" and think "TREE HUGGER" or "SLOW". Though speed may not be a strong point (at least in this case) there are massive benefits to having a luxurious hybrid sedan! First and foremost is the driving experience. You have never experienced smooth acceleration until you have driven this car! It is absolutely effortless and the fact that this gets over 40MPG means you take less time out of your trips to stop at a gas station! Want to know more? Thank you for this very accurate and detailed video. I have owned an ES300h for a year now and I can confirm that you nailed all the key points of this car. A point to mention is the very good reliability of Lexus, especially when compared to the German 3 luxury brands. Here in Europe the dealer experience is also excellent. Greetings from across the pond. Stay well & safe!

I have one and we absolutely love it. It just makes your _everyday_ driving and errands *SO* comfortable and effortless. A really nice car to actually _live with_ every day, with really nice luxury, awesome safety, great efficiency, and extreme reliability.

Idgaf about what people say. I love that grill. Wish my 08' ES350 started with it lol.

Once the ES gets AWD (later this year???) it will be unbeatable!
Fun fact - ES in Japan and Europe will have heated and reclining rear seats with climate control...no big deal!

I bought the ultra luxury edition recently. I love it especially coming from 2012 Camry le hybrid, which I gave to my son.

Thank you for going through all the interior details. It seems like the bigger reviewers get bored and just skip a lot of the small stuff. Great video overall.

You are my favorite car reviewer on youtube Forrest Jones. Your videos are very good and very well put together. 10/10

Very few car reviewers out there will ever go into that kind of detail of the interior

I just love seeing a hybrid with paddle shifters

You are bang on about the Hybrid. It’s a very subtle sell but like the old Steve Jobs Apple products, it just works. Good review mate.

When you were going to talk about head room in the rear seat, I knew your next line would be "I'm 6 feet tall"!
Lol

9:20 They got Cheap on that tiny storage...My 2017 version has carpet soft material so if you have coin inside there is no sound while driving! And HUD I think you can adjust it in the car setting?

3:09 - And those wheels are actually the optional upgraded noise-reducing wheels.

Hey Forrest! I'm a new subscriber and loving your reviews. Thank you for yhe value. You made this review of the 2020 Lexus ES hybrid a few years ago. I'm in the market for a new vehicle and i'm leaning toward getting something similar to this, it seems to make alot of sense for my lifestyle. I'm curious if after a few years of this review, you'd be able to suggest alternatives to this 2020, to purchase today? Even good Hybrid SUVs you'd consider purchasing instead of the 2020 ES? (Good competition for the ES).
