I found a big problem in how I hear God

Many Christians today don't realize that their thinking is affected by humanism. We are taught from a young age to embrace reason when we are given truth not through reason but through revelation. If we want to live fully and faithfully for God, we must be willing to receive his discipline even when it doesn't make sense to us.

My goal on this channel is to remove obstacles from your YES to Jesus.

Following Jesus is more complicated that you might think. From when I first became a Christian, I struggled to understand what it meant to be a faithful follower of Jesus. Many Christians today seem too similar to the world. After twenty years of honest wrestling I have found the solution to my problem. It has to do with the struggle between two worldviews: humanism and revelation. Christians are often a confused mixture of the two and this leads to a complete breakdown in the maturity.

I'm also in a process with hearing and obeying God's voice. Something I've learnt and been reminded of more recently is to discern in which context I heard God speak, to distinguish what it means. Then there's asking God to confirm what He said if it's Him who said it. And to ask God more questions about what we hear and see, like the prophets did. And finally praying and trusting God to both open and close the doors to where He wants us.

You have offers of counsel here. If I may Mr. Dosa I will tell you what made a difference in my life after 40 years…I started obeying all of the commandments of God. Started observing the 7th day as Sabbath, reading Torah and listening to what He has to say about what pleases Him. Obedience to His Sabbath and Observing His Feasts etc. You are definitely desiring to be obedient it all falls into place when we truly are Obedient. Circumcision of the heart will change you from thinking you’re hearing this or that to knowing. We do a lot of things we think we “should “ because it would be pleasing to the Almighty. Someone told us that, we were raised hearing that. But remember, ’His yoke is easy, His burden light’. Obedience is the key 🔐. Consider if you will. If not. This is my first time here so these words are written with zero knowledge of you other than what you presented in this video. So, from the outside looking in, it would seem you have one heck of a busy life and your spirit is feeling restless which means there is a need for change. I am guessing that you may not have much time for yourself and as such perhaps not much quiet time alone with God.
I have found that my strongest and most amazing experiences with Him are when I am alone, quiet, in nature, not actively "doing" anything, just at peace and open. I have also found that when I am with people or in the "doing" of helping others, my spirit is how shall I say, flowing yet not in the same kind of overdrive connection I get when simply sitting with Him, in quiet.
I have heard Father speak twice to me with intense power and authority so much so that every cell in my body knew who was speaking and understood without question. This happened in a lucid dream and in a wake vision. I also "hear" Him from within me, from my heart and sometimes abdomen.
It is written that the Kingdom of God is within and I know this to be true for I have felt Him within me and I realize how strange it sounds to someone who has not experienced His presence or that of the Holy Spirit.
I would suggest you take some time for yourself and God. If your heart isn't in the "doing" of life then that's a big problem and it's important to find your spiritual base or rock within and rediscover the joy of having a family and being able to help others in whatever manner the Lord may place before you. Remember, other people around you will sense how you feel within and most people will internalize that and use it against themselves, thinking something is wrong with them.
Find yourself, your heart and Him again before you take one step further. Center yourself, you have big responsibilities and people u r both leading and affecting which also makes you accountable in the Lord's eyes for how they react to what u say and do.
The best scenario is, you re-connect and come out on fire for the Lord, certain and strong and full of His Holy Spirit. :) I honestly hope this helps as my words are sent with loving concern and desire to help. Have a truly blessed day with the Lord. :)

Abraham probably asked God for children for over 50 years. No child. That was God's responsibility. Abraham's was to pray and obey. Obeying meant praying about it. God told him about it.

Obeying meant continuing to check with God about sacrificing his son, and going to Mount Moriah. He went to Mount Moriah. He followed until he got more information. It didn't mean sacrificing Isaac.

Abraham, after decades, after turning around 90 or so, said, "God, what will you give me?". He had everything except the promised child, just like the Jews who waited centuries. When God told him he'd have a son "through your wife, Sarah, " he laughed. So many years of frustration and waiting. Sarah laughed, too. Would God give them a son? His name means "laughs."

We wait for God but act in the present--with no guarantee of receiving in the present. I've found that when something be urgent with God he tells me over and over again. With the rest, I relax.
