Kitten rescued from the trash gets a bath

Not every rescued cat needs a bath, but Tibi had been rolling around in trash bags. She was starting to get the hang of enjoying new things, and even purred while getting a soak. Despite taking to bath time quickly, playtime presented another challenge. Tibi had been in survival mode her whole life. She never had the luxury of being silly or enjoying playtime with toys. This was going to be a steeper learning curve.

Hi Tibbi! I think you’ll get the hang of playtime soon enough. Flatbush cats won’t give up on you sweet girl. We’re having trouble getting our declawed foster Judge Judy to play too. She’s a senior and we think it hurts her when she tries. We were shocked when we figured out she was declawed as the rescue didn’t warn us. Thanks Flatbush cats for rescuing this precious lil gal! She has a bright future! ✨
