Sounds like what every administration does when they explain the congressional budget

What always gets me is the way people figure shipping and handling into a product they have ordered.
I actually had such a conversation with somebody a few months back. This item was like $10 at Walmart. They proceeded to tell me that they got it only $5 online. I asked to see a recipe which they showed me. It showed they spent $10 on shipping for a total of $15 and they stlll thought they got a better deal paying $15 online than $10 at Walmart.

I hope she realizes that those furniture stores jack the prices up so high that their "sale" prices are still ridiculously overpriced.

Checking out at Kohl's, they'd always tell my ex wife how much she saved today. I would always point out we didn't save anything; we just spent money. Also they were never planning on selling at MSRP anyway.

I'm always like "no way anyone falls for these dumb marketing tactics" and then every now and then I'm reminded how dumb so many people are.

So you end up spending more money for things you don't need😂 that's where marketing discounts get you down a rabbit hole

This is why online businesses make so much money😂 I own an online brand and we do target women A LOT more than men… there is no gender equality when it comes to spending lolll

When you're still a kid and think the "savings" mean you should spend more bc you couldve spent a lot, but since youre saving you might as well spend the rest
