I’m not a beginner. But I’m so inconsistent. This vid will help a ton for me. Hopefully!

Just found this video. Sounds like you're describing every issue I'm running into. Too much top spin, way too much ball speed. I'll try these tips out at my next league night, and we'll see if I can't get my 140 up to a 180 or more. Thanks guys. Love the channel.

Been scrounging through content for weeks trying to find a fix for my specific issue when trying to hook it more. I tend to get way to over the top and put way to much horizontal spin (probably not the correct term) on it causing the ball to actually move less. That water bottle drill made everything make so much sense! So pumped!

Just got back into Bowling after a 30 year Hiatus. These vids are great for me because I'm Basically learning how to Bowl all over again going from Wood to Synthetic Lanes and the different types of Bowling Balls. My Pro Shop guy watched me throw a few balls with my Old 16 pounders and told me that I need to drop down to 14 pounds. I asked him to hook me up with the right type of Balls that would fit the way I bowl. He got me a Brunswick Rhino Symmetric and Ebonite Aero Asymmetric. Been practicing twice a week for the last couple of weeks (12 games total) with the New Balls working on the Basics, Approach, Balance, Release Point, Hand Position. Any other advise or Exercises would be helpful.

I bowled a 782 throwing a ball not much over 10 mph. It was a crazy lane condition. When the ball hit the pins, they would just topple over. Had 17 in a row over two games. I could almost be back in my seat by the time the ball hit the pins.

most certainly speaking to my game. Slowing down has helped on the reaction...to the point that I'm having to gauge the break point now. I've learned a ton from your videos. If you need/want more content, my next step would be to help in judging and targeting that break point. I seem to become confused at the line when focusing on an arrow while really trying to get to a break point. I sometimes get great reaction at the right spot on the lane, but it is very difficult for me to repeat that shot because of my targeting and break point calculation issues. Love your videos and hope to see more soon!

My Most Excellent Coach here in Vegas showed me the "water bottle" thing in my last lesson. And Most Excellent is World Famous! So DO THAT!

I've been bowling without using my thumb for 30 years. I've recently tried to incorporate my thumb and it's like I've never bowled a frame in my life! The struggle is real.
I've gone from bowling 120-160 (I know that's terrible) with no thumb to under 100 with my thumb. 😂.

I’m not really a beginner and I did average 216 last season on league, but I use a wrist brace because for the life of me without it my wrist just breaks and I don’t really know what I can do to train/practice so I can stay behind the ball without the braces help.

I’ve watched a few videos now about learning how to hook and this was by far the best and most informative. So thanks guys. Looking forward to getting my first ball made 🎳

Bowling again after not bowling regularly for about 15 years.
I was always a straight-line bowler back when I bowled regularly and averaged low 160s, and now I'm trying to learn to hook it, but not having much success getting revs out of my ball (DV8 Too Reckless).
I'm going to go into my next practice with slow down + gravity in mind to see if that helps.

My game has improved so much from this channel and private members group that I’m now bowling comfortably on my sport shot leagues. It is nice to know what to look for on the lanes and executing properly. The game is more fun. Thank Brad Kyle and Daniel 👍
