Good to see I’m not the only coach who throws it right in the gutter when demonstrating a drill.

As a girl's high school coach, I'm rarely able to find videos that I can use. Not having the speed/power or revs, it's difficult to translate a Pro tip video for the girls. This one is different because you guys made it so simplistic. I can explain that stuff all day and it goes over their heads...they need a visual. Not only did you guys give me that for them with this, but now they can't just blame me for these drills lol They like to think the "one step" is something I invented just to be mean...thanks for bailing me out! 😉😂

Please keep in mind how many young girls you have the potential to help with your videos. If you can ever get one of the ladies to join in an instructional video, many of us female bowlers/coaches would appreciate it!

Keep up the great work, Brad & Kyle!🤩

Been watching for the past three weeks. I had gotten into some bad habits. Over the past two weeks I've raised my avg from 195 to 198 just incorporating some basics and keeping some of your tips in the back of my mind. This is a humbling sport, especially when things go sideways, thanks guys for these tips. They really help at all skill levels.

I've watched this video like 3 times trying to improve my hand position when throwing a hook and i finally had a Kyles discomfort about a minute in, just seeing the hand inside position and mimicking it myself drastically increased my rev rate and control. Thanks for this video, just subbed, Happy Bowling!

This is exactly what my biggest weakness is. Been bowling for the majority of the past 30 years, but I was never coached. As a result, I developed A LOT of bad habits due to being a "feel" bowler. I've been attempting to focus on my release, specifically hand position, and have been struggling big time. Like to the tune of ~30 pins under my average.

This video has a couple great pointers that I'll try to apply. Thanks, guys -- keep up the great work and content!

Totally doing this in about 2 hours before league tonight! I REALLY need to get my hand to stay behind the ball so I can control the breakpoint.

You should make a video on tips for keeping the wrist in a strong position to stay under the ball more

I grew up throwing rubber and my most consistent release was with my hand on the outside of the ball. As bowling balls changed to plastic, urethane, and reactive, I have had to change my release, as well. I have recently been fighting a tendency to yank the ball left and, after watching this video, I believe it's because I've reverted to my oldest release which is totally inappropriate for today's equipment. Can't wait to get to the lanes and work the no-step and one-step drills.

Thanks for helping me, specifically, and for furthering this sport we love. You guys are terrific!!

I’ve been a one hand 2 finger bowler for years, and have been stuck hovering around 200. I’m practicing a more traditional 2 finger + thumb and these drills have been a great way to make sure i don’t develop bad habits.

Thanks for creating this video! As a 64 year-old bowler, I struggle with many aspects of bowling, including my release! Awesome job Brad & Kyle!

The difference is insane! I often get stuck with my thumb in the ball because of my hand position. Thanks for this video

Showing exact hand positions is very helpful! Words alone don't capture what to do, and what the results are. Best wishes for success on the lanes!
