During a first drive event for the Nissan Ariya NISMO I borrowed the key to an old friend, the Nissan GT-R NISMO I drove around the streets of Yokohama back in March this year. This time I was able to unleash it's full performance and one of the best road I have ever driven on !

Driven 4 GTR's on experience days over years and I still have a massive smile on my face thinking back to the first time and no car since has ever made me smile as much, be it a Ferrari, DB9 , Gallardo, R8 etc. In fact, I have another experience waiting to be booked, and I'll 100% have another couple of GTR drives out of the 6 I can pick to drive.

I’ve now watched this video 3 times! I recently commented (on another channel) that I love the design of the Audi RS Etron GT Performance and it’s my favourite EV up to £250k but it’s still a milk float! I don’t care that it would probably be faster than the Nismo GTR it will never ‘stirr your soul’ like the GTR. I think I would even pick a GTR instead of a 911 Turbo S. Sad times when a car like the GTR is confined to the history books 😢 One of my life’s many regrets is that I buggered up and never got to own or at least drive a GTR. Thanks again Ped (this is my second comment - that’s how much it’s moved me) for bringing us this perfect combo of car and road
