The R35 is still a brilliant machine and continues to have tremendous presence on the road. This latest Nismo version looks absolutely fantastic! The only area where the R35 really shows its age is with the shift logic in its dual-clutch transmission when in auto mode, which is easily avoided by driving it exclusively in manual mode.

The fact this is still the quickest, fastest and most capable supercar from Japan some 15+ years later shows how good the engineering is. The lfa failed. The nsx isnt any better than the lfa and only a nutjob would try to compare the a90/a91 supra in class with this beast.

My guess why its only 600hp is because Nissan knew tuners would add bigger turbos to up the hp or some kind of power adder.
