Is the 2024 Nissan GT-R NISMO a supercar WORTH the PRICE?

FIRST LOOK: The GT-R is getting some big changes from Nissan for 2024. The NISMO edition brings the highest level of performance. Under the hood is a 3.8L twin-turbo V6 pumping out 600HP & is mated to a 6-speed DCT. Is the 2024 Nissan GT-R NISMO a performance car WORTH the PRICE?

While the R35 GTR still has great performance for a platform from 2007, its held back by the 200k plus price point for the Nismo and the 115k plus for the base model. Its competition in the price point has caught up to it and has modernized, and if you want a R35 you have 15+ years of models to choose from for cheaper.

There are many things I can criticize about the GT-R but not the design. It looks so freaking good.

I'm a Z-Car kinda guy, but this wild beast is special. When it pulls up, you definitely know it means business. Sadly the price point is ridiculous.

The GT-R became the legend it is because it was affordable and meant to compete with the Supra, Evo, Sti, etc but now they are marketing the R35 as some $120k - $250k exotic car thats a out of reach for most people.

I agree. Killer car. Looks, engineering. Outstanding. But price wise, its priced itself out of most pocketbooks. That being said, if you are able to afford one of these beauties, they do retain their resale value quite well.

The power needs to be bumped up to 700. And an extra 100 pounds of torque then I could justify the price. I can get the Z06 and still have 60 thousand dollars left over and the Z06 is a better car.

Man for $220, 000+ you have some insane options G80 M3 (fully spec'd cost $160, 000) M5, E63s, C63s, AMG GTR, 911 Turbo and even Bentley to name a few. You can buy an M3 tune it and push 750HP and it still wouldn't cost you more than $220, 000. No flat bottom wheel, same old display like common. Wicked car but the price and design that has been the same for the past 14 years I'd go with a M3 or M5.

You know what’s crazy? This car design hasn’t changed much in 15 years and it still looks great! The only thing that has changed mainly is the cost lol…with that said, If I had 200k in cash I’d buy it asap.
