5 People Try Caviar For the First Time || First Timers

Caviar is one of the most interesting -- and misunderstood -- foods in the world. Expensive? Generally. Delicious? Well, that depends on your style. On this episode of "First Timers," we get five Thrillist staffers and caviar virgins to put their taste buds on the line, and try caviar for the first time. Results are… mixed. But their reactions are funny. And that's what really matters here, right?

Do you remember your first time? On “First Timers,” a new Thrillist series, we find people that -- for some reason -- have just never tried some really common foods: oysters, Chick-fil-A, the Impossible Burger, and more. Then, we have them try it for the first time, and film their reactions. The premise is simple, though their reactions are anything but. These people will always remember their first time. And so will you.

This is worst way to make a episode, by changing the sequence of reaction you are messing with the impact of video, it seems confusing and boring

Did they find the most uninteresting people or was it just an accident?

The first time I tried caviar was when I found some in my godfather's fridge when I was about 8 or 9 years old. I loved it and straight-up devoured several jars of it. My mother caught me in the act and almost had a heart attack. How was I supposed to know those little jars of eggs were so expensive? 😂😂😂

I thought you’re not supposed to use metal spoons

I like how she compared the caviar to sardines. Sardines manufacturers must be proud 😂

I don't know about a golden spoon, but I heard it was supposed to be a pearl spoon because the metal off of spoons transfer to caviar, giving it a metallic taste.

The girl with the hat thinks she’s funny, it’s high-key annoying.

I've never tried caviar, but I can see caviar with my eyes and I know it definitely doesn't look like vegemite, jam, or mud.

The guy evaluating it for "freshness" 😂😂😂 It is preserved and brined; it is the opposite of "fresh"! 😂 I love how people throw the word "fresh" around and don't know what the hell they're talking about. What, did he expect it to be rotten?

Tried Caviar for the first time Today, It's a, bit too salty but I'm a salt addict. I wouldn't eat it regularly but I would try it again.

I'm not turning down 11AM champagne but I definitely prefer vodka with caviar. This is a fun series. 👍

Recently, for the first time, I also tried black caviar from Lemberg and was very pleased. I advise everyone to try at least once in their life
