Bought this as well for 10.00 $ at Vons. Taste alright with champagne. It comes from a lumpfish Not as popular as the sturgeon which is way more expensive

Buy White Sturgeon Caviar. In blind taste tests, it's indistinguishable from $300/ounce Osetra. I buy 1.75 ounce tin from Wegmans for $65 all the time. Worth every penny.

Lumpfish is alright however I wish they didn't dye it in nasty black ink, its natural color is pink. Literally impossible to find it in natural color unless you are in Japan.

Right On!!! To be honest I love the taste of super fishy taste and some salt. So to me e every caviar of really good. Some are just better than others.

They’re both cheap lol. Good caviar is roughly $100, 000 per canister and it comes from albino sturgeon, harvested every 10-15 years.
