It amazes me how cheap some Decks can be!

Tenyi. Not the strongest boards, but insanely consistent and nigh impossible to put down. Full combo is two cards and if you build it right, then you near always have them. Plus, the field spell gives a free draw two, turns all of your non-effects into towers, and is searchable. All for ~40 bucks

Flower Cardians are another good deck, they can potentially make a board of synchros that do this a big attacker that can negate spell/trap card and negates monsters in battle, a protection effect for all FC monsters, and a Abyss Dweller/Necrovalley on legs. Otherwise you can just do a burn FTK variant due to one of their synchros being a upstart gobin that’s a soft once per turn, potentially if you get around the xenophobic effects you can be a bit experimental with the synchros. The downside is they are tricky to use, are prone to Droll and Niberu (Arc Light helps with this), bricky, and luck dependent.

Something cool about musket this meta is that dancing needle is good against basically every deck thats seeing play right now. A searchable dd crow that hits 3 cards instead of 1 is insane

Decks like Appliencer are fun and can do well locally, and Salad is still fairly budget just without access code, but can play borrelsword instead

Gizmeks are actually pretty good too. Very good at OTKing your opponent, and the deck is dirt cheap. You don’t really need an extra deck except for the ancient gear combo if you want to do that and platinum gadget. The rest is just orochi fodder and super poly targets if you want to go down that road. The most expensive gizmek is Kaku at around $13, but you don’t really need more than 1 or 2 of him. Even the new gizmek field spell is only $2. Then just get some limiter removals, pot of desires, and any generic cards you want. Such a cheap and fun deck to play.

Thank you for Update Mondays man, now they became my favorite day of the week. Just gonna steal a page from your book and admit, I just got diagnosed this morning with Borderline Personality Disorder and man that fucking sent me down a rabbit hole of tho TF am I really then. Something else that is actually really cool that I’ve been testing is Phantom Knight Ogdoadic! You just basically play a bunch of dark extenders to end on Bardiche and either a rank 8 or the Ogdoabyss, and is a ton of fun! It’s not tier 1 for sure, but it’s hella fun and actually quite explosive, so I highly recommend it!

Marincess. They have some great recursion and recovery, can make a Towers with either a free draw, battle protection or OTK and synergies well with Frogs and Paleo.

My favorite budget deck by far is U.A. It has arguably the best field spell and equip spell in the game. Also the deck allows you to otk or set up your defense for interruptions and negates

$50 means you can afford a decent deck box and sleeves!

Budget Shaddolls (ie, trap variant without Schism) is actually pretty cheap too, 3 structure decks then super cheap staples like TT, Punishment, Cosmic Cyclone, Dinomischus, entire deck is great for grind games and you can put it together for like $50, yes I know Schism loses you combo pieces but also I can't get a hold of it from anywhere so there's that too
