First Mountain Bike Trail Ride on the Mondraker Leader 16 for 6 Year Old

Our first mtb trail ride on the Mondraker Leader 16, 7 speed kids mountain bike. Brin is 6 years old and has been riding bikes without training wheels since she turned 4. We have been wanting to go trail riding for some time, but it seems like for the last year it has either been muddy, or too hot for her to be out on the trails for any length of time.

Needless to say, she had a blast and can't wait to go back. This little bike has been awesome, we haven't had a single issue out of it and she rides it around the house almost daily, and we have taken it to several bike parks/pump tracks as well. Great little starter bike with a 7 speed grip shift. If she had been on a single speed, I don't think she would have made it half as far as she did. She just turned 6, and is about to out grow it, so we are starting to look at 20" geared bikes.
