Here’s my second song! It’s very loosely based on an incident that happened to me on New Years Eve a couple years ago, and it was a trauma I desperately needed to write about. I always loved the biblical figure, Lilith, and how she was written as an alluring, evil succubus. I gave everything and kept giving all that I had to one person, and I thought that an intoxicating, magnetic figure like Lilith would be the perfect allegory.
