Working with architectural section plane in FreeCAD BIM is explained in this video. Viewers will learn how to create Arch_SectionPlane object, how to place it correctly, activate the section in 3D view and create 2D section objects from the section plane. These form the basis of creating architectural plan and section views. Section planes can also be clipped and it is possible to setup the section depth.

again a great detailed tutorial which helps me greatly since working on a garage myself. I moved away a bit from using sketchup. Perhaps a good idea to have a tutorial on the use of Schedule or Bill of Material which would help making a list of the materials needed. I am also thinking that when a wall is set with blocks that the amount of blocks required can be listed in such a view! Great work Tom! Like the lessons a lot 😊
