It's honestly good a big company like IGN did this, hopefully now EA will think about what they put out (at least a little bit more). I doubt it but hopefully right?

Or maybe this is what we need for other game review companies to do this right? Start a movement/trend.

I stopped caring about EA years ago. There are tons of developers that make better games now, indie and AAA.

This is SO frustrating for me (and I have to believe many others), because EA holds many licenses that I want to engage with. Star Wars and Madden are the big ones for me. But watching EA year after year shit on us, then use our dissatisfaction and subsequent refusal to buy their products as a reason to not bring their products to our platform is just trash. Switch has been the best selling console in the WORLD for three years straight. We’ve gotta be nearing an install base of 70 million at this point. But we can’t get certain franchises from them, and the ones we DO get are copy paste 3 year old version or versions that are released late EVEN THOUGH THE SWITCH VERSION IS READY (looking at you Need For Speed). It’s just such a frustrating bias because they, through these discriminatory practices, are forcing Switch owners to buy the consoles EA wants them to buy. Remember, these aren’t exclusive games. I have ZERO problem not having access to an exclusive game. But when a game is multi-platform and comes to every platform except Switch? Or current versions come to every platform but Switch? Fuck that.

And YES! It’s SO NICE to see a major gaming media outlet call EA out! They can’t dismiss an IGN the same way they can dismiss a youtuber. This is big and MAYBE...JUST MAYBE...EA will feel some real heat from this. I sure hope so.

The way EA is a successful is a slap to the face of actual game developers. It took cd project red 8 years for cyberpunk to finally come. And that game will cost just as any crap that EA shits out every year.

Fifa 18 was my first switch game then i got fifa 19 the next year. Then the legacy edition became true and i have not bought a fifa game since, i am still playing 19 constantly with no regrets of buying these “new” pieces of garbage.

EA is gargage, the last game I bought from them was Mirror's Edge on 360. And even still it was second hand. I will not give them a single penny. And ALL Switch owners should do the same.

I purchased Fifa 19 on switch on sale for $11( I think, but the price was definitely close to this). Really dont see any point of buying the game again for just roster update.
