Ive always loved sardines. My parents loved them and would make sandwiches with them. So im always reminded of my childhood when i eat them. When i walked past this shop visiting nyc this past dec i knew i had to go in. It was def quite the experience.

My family always loved sardines, I remember growing up we ate a ton of them along with whole milk and a lot of veggies almost religiously. My friends always thought it was weird that my mom packed them for me instead of lunchables dorritos etc, so I never ate them in front of anyone. Now that I’m older I notice me and my brother are both above 6’3, healthy, and did sports in college and the like. Meanwhile a lot of people I grew up with are already fat and unhealthy before hitting 30.

I credit those dumb little fish and gallons of milk and carrots. I am going to give them to my kids one day.
