I work at a restaurant connected to a four-star hotel, both sides of which don't really allow facial hair outside of short sideburns and mustaches. For someone like me who, currently nineteen, looks fourteen without facial hair and in my twenties with, it really sucks outside of work. Makes me wish I worked where I could grow facial hair, but I'm really well-liked where I currently work.

It's fun seeing guests confused as to why what seems to look like a kid is their server, though.

Currently enjoying the crunchy texture of my mustache. I take the ends and poke the crease of my lips with it. Sometimes tucking it into the corner of both sides of my mouth and seeing how long I can stand the tension. It is amusing. The clipper shave also looks best on me, but the last time I trimmed I kept my mustache longer and just trimmed that bit that hangs over the lips. I need to do that again before work today. I should also touch up the neckline, but each time I do it feels like a gamble. I may just trim too close and have to get rid of the entire thing if my mistake is bad enough. Then I go back to looking like a 14yro.

I'm happy to see that we derive a similar pleasure from our facial hair.

I agree about the beard-it's also good for your skin, stops wind and rain from weathering your face, so when you actually take it off it 'shaves' years off, makes you look younger.
