hahahah ok. this would be possible if you had a pump already circulating enough fluid pressure to engage the clutches in the transmission, next you would have to have the car rolling fast enough for the input shaft to create enough dynamic fluid movement and pressure from the transmission side veins/fins in the torque converter to engage the crankshaft's side of the converter's veins/fins, and you're damn sure not gonna do that with a buddy pushing your car down the road. So, in other words you're all being trolled and you're gonna look like idiots when you try this.

Technically you can do this, but it's gonna be really bloody hard unless you have a tow or a steep hill to get you fast enough to rotate the engine through the converter.

My truck can be bump started if im going 40mph or faster, its a 98 f150 and has to be in overdrive when the torque converter locks

Hydraulic pressure in the transmission is taken from the INPUT shaft, meaning if the engine isn't turning your input, your trans will do nothing but freewheel.

Your clutches are engaged by this hydraulic pressure. No pressure means no clutch engagement which means no gears - ie neutral.

So no, this doesn't work

This doesnt work, sorry... been working on cars for over 30 years... havent found one yet that this works on. Besides if you listen closely it sounds like a recording being played in the background. Even standard transmissions dont fire up THAT easily and the car would throw the driver FORWARD not backward when it does fire up
