The Microsoft Team have scheduled the first Development Live Stream of the 2024 sim. This will be the first real up-to-date information we will receive about the new sim for some time. With just over 70 days and counting to 2024 release, things are surely going to drop in thick and fast. The REX Atoms clouds look like X-Plane 12 clouds and I like it.

I hope that some functions are implemented or improved.
For example, the pressure reading (ATC/ATIS/METAR) must be communicated based on where we are. For example, in Europe a different scale is used than in the USA.
Still in the weather settings, it would be nice to be able to set the visibility in meters/kilometers or feet/nautical miles. Currently we can only choose the type of cloud cover and the altitude. I can't choose the fog..
I hope that this time they implement the Weather Radar once and for all in an optimal and efficient manner, so that the various software houses can develop their aircraft with fully functional weather radars.
I also hope that the Garmin 1000 Nxi will be further improved by adding more features that are not currently available.

I’m really interested in the Virpil flight controls. They look impressive. The only questions are the performance and pricing of the products especially with the unknown future with Honeycomb. It may be time for a complete overhaul of my flight controls, except for rudder pedals. I do like my TB pedals.

I’d just like to have a flight sim where when I’m taxiing there aren’t taxiway lights placed in the middle of the taxiway and ground vehicles know how to hold their positions properly.

It’s very nice to see aircraft and scenery. But when are they going to improve on the home cockpit development I mean an explain you can actually move each individual camera to where you want it at but it Microsoft. It is difficult to even set up screens in multiple views individually that would be a huge improvement.

I really hope they address the extremely harsh lighting during the daytime or give us some way to control the brightness, contrast, or exposure. The lighting during sunrise and sunset is perfect, though!
