How to get the Word Ribbon buttons back

Have you lost the row of buttons along the top of Word, know as the Ribbon?
It's all too easy to lose the Ribbon, but fortunately it's just as easy to get it back.

All I'm getting when I save documents is a basic ribbon with no way to edit the document. Is there a way to save a document normally so the full ribbon shows up on every saved document? The ribbon only has File and Tools and View and the Name of the Document and Saved to this PC on it. Please help! There is no Home button.

This doesn't help. I have only File, Tiles, View at the top and the file name. I have lost the ribbon on every single document. If I open a new document, the ribbon appears but once I save it, the ribbon is gone.

Ctrl + F1 button for restoring the ribbon menu. 😀
