Hairdresser reacts: this haircut is a disaster!

I have naturally very thick wavy hair. Lots of it. Blonde. I’ve spent all my teens having hairdressers tell me I have “too much hair” and thinning the hell out of it to a point of turning it into ultimate mess. I’ve only met a sensible hairdresser at 25 and my hair transformation started there. All I need is a simple cut. That’s it.

What kind of hairdresser/stylist would put hair through this?! I cannot even begin to imagine what it did to the ends (and most likely pulled at her scalp as well). I’m sure they cleaned and trimmed up the ends afterward, but still…

I think this is honestly a joke, it seemes they took the blade off before they did this. It didn't get cut at all. If the blade was in even if it failed it would have at least cut something noticeable off the left hinge side.

I know that there are [some] hairdressers out there who want to talk clients into what 'they' want. I finally do my own thing now and do better for myself than any of them. So these days, with Brad sharing his incredible talent and advice with us online, my {full head of} hair always benefits one way or another.

Growing up in a house full of blonde, straight haired females my father had a trick to making hair cutting easy. He bought one pair of grass trimmers, sharpened it as sharp as a knife, then combed all of our hair back and in one fell swoop cut our hair straight across for a perfect straight cut. Easy, fast and with all the hair in one easy pile to clean up.
