It took me 6 years of marriage to finally grasp the concept of this entire video, now the work starts, and it has. Thanks Pastor E. In the words of DJ One".

I really appreciate how you don’t tip toe around the roses and that you keep it real with a dash of humor 😃
I believe marriage will not be so hard if we follow God’s blueprint, but instead folks are acting as if they are God or looking for God (perfection) in their spouse.

Love what you said especially that your spouse is a gift to you…. And also the fact that marriage bring out every thing of your personality which you didn’t think you have - it’s refining the character. Thank you so much. God bless 💕🙏🏻

I don't regret the marriage and I don't regret the divorce either. It eventually didn't work out, despite years of trying to hold it together. Now we're just friends and get along fine again.

Thank you for this very informative video. My spouse shared this with me and I’ve learned some things that I didn’t have much knowledge of prior to watching this. It changed my perspective of marriage in a positive direction.

Yes very encouraging video thank you ! Just to add in my opinion if we put our whole trust in the spouse it can be very disappointing because we can’t fully trust anyone even ourselves
Because we are creations in flesh with sinful nature and weaknesses. Putting the whole trust in God
Who has the power to
Hold marriage 😊is the way ! Which I have leaned in the past year . I am married for 18 month
Blessings to everyone ❤️

Hi Erik, So glad that you made this video! As I was listening to you, it came to mind that marriage sounds very much like an extension of the things we should already be nurturing in our singleness. Like being grateful, checking on our internal dialogue with ourselves about others, learning love with those around us, checking on traumas that could be jeopardizing relationships, serving others, being friends to our friends, and ALL of it is a journey we got to do individually to be able to do it with someone else... does it make sense to you?
I seem to look at things like a journey with mountains and valleys... and how good it is when we can do it with someone who is intentionally and willing to go through all that with you.
Young people today are in "la la land" overall and it saddens me. I have a heavy heart for them since it is crazy nuts at this moment, this world we live in!!
I will be sharing your video with some friends Erik, thank you once again :)I loved it when you said that marriage is a gift, I see the other person as a gift from God and hope i am seen the same way :)

Great video Eric! I love the content and I pass it on to my fiance everytime. She has a very short attention span but she tells me she watches them.

nah. my last ex, she was young and immature. I told her to stop spending time with shitty people, i pushed her to pursue her dreams, i looked out for her cause she lacks the experience and perspective to see things in a mature lens. And yet she felt i was being controlling. Now 2 years later and she unfriended all the toxic friends i told her to stop hanging with, and shes got no one who supports her....i was a fucking gift to her....and she treated me like shit near the end. good riddance. Know your fucking worth...if you know your value and people treat you like anything less than what you're worth, they dont deserve you.
