Watching you put that sashing on that quilt made me understand doing that to finish off my quilt much better and faster. Thankyou so so very much.

I love QAYG and this method is the easiest way! Thanks for showing all how easy it is and might encourage others to give it a go saving money on sending quilts to longarmers!

Thankyou Wanda 😊 Q: did you iron a quarter inch fold on the 2” sashing before sewing it down?

But doesn’t the 2” strip need to be folded over and then sewn together? Did I miss that part ????
🫣😢

Can you help please with some advice? I have joined 6 blocks together and made a row, now to join the rows together, it is quite lengthy and the fabric isn't long enough to cover one end to another so can I join small pieces together to make 1 long piece? Thank you for a reply.

Couldn't you cut the 1 inch joiner strips for the back out of the brown & white floral to match the back. Because it is only going to be 1 inch (1/2 in showing), at a glance the joining strip and background would look the same... rather it would not jump right out at you that it was a separate piece... just if you held it out and gave it a really great look, would you see the difference.

You said 2 inches for the folded piece. Can I make it any width or does it have to be 2 inches folded in half?
