Heck yeah. Just finished a queen sized quilt top for my wife ( promised 4 yrs ago, but hey I finally got on it ) UNFORTUNATELY I wasn't aware of " quilt as you go " and I can't squeeze it in my machine to quilt it. I'm going to bind it inside a large hoop and hand quilt it.
The method you just did will be my new method. I'm even ordering a free motion quilt foot . Thank you so very much..

Very nice video. I do it very similar and finish with the seam I sew in the top and u often use a decorative stitch or zigzag to stitch that seam.

You can also do this with rows instead of blocks.
