Gavi is one of the hottest youngsters in European football right now. The 17-year-old has been widely regarded as the present and future of Spain, La Liga and FC Barcelona, and if you watch him play, surely you understand why.

Just months after Pedri became the youngest ever player to represent Spain in a major tournament, Gavi went and broke a record himself, too.

The first fact is actually wrong, his family did not enjoy football at all when he was younger. Barça TV did a documentary and they mentioned it was actually one of his dad's friends the one that took him to the club where he first started, since his dad was not a big football fan (he much preferred dancing). There's also a video about his origins where they talk to a few of his family members and they mentioned how his grandfather didn't like football at all, they were all quite shocked to see how quick he made it.
