The pill should be an overlay closer to the bottom edge. That'll be the ultimate solution. Rn its taking the same amount of space as a normal navbar.

Scrolling in the notification is pretty cool. I wish you could do that on Spotify.

Quick shortcut to switch the phone ring volume on Android pie for pixels. Click the volume rocker, and that icon above the media volume sound level adjustment, its a button. You tap that button and you can switch quickly between silent, vibrate and sound on. No point in tapping the settings button below the media volume level for messing with that. I use that quite a bit. And there is a shortcut you can set through the gesture settings to quickly switch the sound (silent, vibrate or sound on) to what what you prefer by pressing the power and rocker up at the simultaneously.

1:40 - What about swiping down for going back? I don't know anything about Android Pie gestures yet (since I don't have it) - but if that's an option maybe they should see how users would like it.

Android Q looking better every day. With 6T gestures it's a beast. Don't want pills or any other buttons down there and the way OnePlus does it is just perfect.

Definitely better than the 1st Q beta. However, the new navigation gestures are way wrose now. Why make it wrose Google, I would have been way happier to wait until Google I/O (beta 3) or even the final realise; than dealing with this disastrous mess. It's so bad now! 🤯 Otherwise, it's a solid beta realise. 😏
