Elon is not a polymath though. He owns several business, and isn't the only person who does. He isn't even an inventor, and he's called that quite often, which confuses me. He's a great businessman and industrialist, he's all about making green energy sexy and profitable...But a polymath he is not, it's jarring that you compare him to Da Vinci

I don't believe you can teach yourself to be a true Polymath. I'm a Polymath, and I'm an expert in many fields, and it's something you're born with not learned. Elon Musk has done a lot in a couple of fields and he has Asperger's. I can do anything he does plus I have expertise in so many other fields that don't relate to each other at all. I can sew or rebuild any sewing machine, serger or even vacuum cleaners. I can diagnose and repair any ice or electric vehicle just by having it in front of me and available tools, I can cook extremely good even making my own pasta from scratch, I work on my own physics problems and the creation of new maths and sciences, I am a plumber, electrician and a carpenter (I built my own smart skoolie from scratch and we live in it while we're building a smart city from scratch in BFE designing, engineering the grid, septic and my own drilling system to drill for water myself) I've engineered many different things, I ran a community for almost 5 years till I moved, I'm a good gamer, I can do anything with hvac myself, I can do anything with concrete, I'm involved with others to further nuclear fusion and scaling it down, Iunderstand human anatomy and could if I had to do surgery on someone, etc. The list goes on. Look it's very hard to live the way I do because it's a very lonely place to live. I wish I could find another person like me.

Polymaths are born not created. Everyone has gifts and talents but not everyone is capable of doing the same tasks. The best way to know you are a polymath is to stumble onto the subjects of polymaths and realize that the description matches you to a T. 😅
