This is amazing, thank you. I had my first lesson today and although she is a great teacher, I got flustered because she wouldn't give me reference points and said I'll get used to it. This will help me a lot in my second lesson

I’m getting frustrated with my positioning. So my instructor keeps telling me to use the black writing in the corner of the right side of the shield as a reference point to drive in the middle of my lane* but when I do she keeps correcting me and I’m so confused. It’s throwing me off and I just feel like when im fine it’s a fluke.

thanks for this 🥲 my instructor scolded me and yelled at me saying im a horrible driver because i hit the kerb. i wasnt able to gauge how close i was to the left so i didnt even know that i was about to hit it.

will use these markers as guidelines next lesson!!!

In tighter situations when you are on the main road with parked cars on both sides with no passing place, when would you stop completely and allow the traffic on your right to go by, and when would you still go but at a slower pace?

I say this to say that, my instructor would still tell me to continue on in situations where I feel as though the space is too tight for me to move and the same vice versa. are there any other tips you could give to help me not do the wrong thing?

theres no such a thing as reference points .. every situation is different its just based on experience .. as my dad once said when you hit something you will know how close you are for sure
