From what I've seen, might be actually better idea to first go for loggers camp, then granary + storage (very important before first rain), then food and firewood and only then focus on houses

Wait, when you are talking about burgase house plots, your one house with the addition is almost the same size as 2 plots, and houses 2 people (the same amount as two plots), but only has one backyard. Your strategy isn't adding up...

Not going to support this anti-criticism development, they literally deleting and banning genuine critic posts and questioning the future of the game itself because it worked only by a single person in the Steam forum. That is a major red flag for me.
