Trinity? Jesus Defends Himself in John 10 Using 'gods,' 'sons of God' in Psalm 82

Are those who understand Jesus as a divine being, "a god," #polytheists? If so, then why does Jesus quote and use the "gods" / "sons of God" (angels or human judges) in Psalm 82 to defend himself against the charge that he 'made himself God/a god?

If Jesus believed it was acceptable to use texts like Psalm 82 to defend how he, as the #SonofGod, is to be considered God or a god, how is this consistent with the #Trinity doctrine that teaches there is only one God and that one God is the Trinity?

Consider our video on this subject, a clip from one of our shows, and the links below for more information:

Here is a clip from one our recent shows on Jesus' use of Psalm 82 to defend himself against the incorrect belief that he, as the Son of God, should not be considered "a god, " for even the "sons of God" against whom God's word came in Psalm 82 were called "gods." So if Jesus used Psalm 82 or John 10 to show sons of God and, more so, he as the Son of God can be called "a god" or "gods" without promoting polytheism, why can't we use these texts for the same reason, in the exact same way?

Jesus is the same God as the Father? And we can use that of ourselves? What is this newfangled blasphemy?
