Aim labs *is* helpful, and you should definitely aim train, because you shoot way more shots in an aim trainer than you do in game in the same amount of time. Aim labs ≠ gridshot, there are tons of great drills, like sixshot, spidershot, and microshot, stop making it look like gridshot is the only drill in aim labs

Aim Lab is a useful tool when used correctly. 1 thing to note is that Aim Lab and other aim trainers such as Kovaaks, Aim Beast, Aim Booster, etc. are made solely to improve your mouse control. Not your crosshair placement, not your positioning, not anything relating to game sense in anyway, it is STRICTLY MOUSE CONTROL. Mouse control can be roughly defined as your ability to control your mouse with high precision and speed. So for players who struggle hitting flicks, struggle with tracking moving opponents, struggle with the raw aim they need to hit a shot, Aim Lab is for you. Now if your issue is that your crosshair is constantly not at head level, your positioning yourself badly, or just your general game knowledge that helps putting you in duels where you have the upper hand lacks, then Aim Lab is going to be less useful. Aim Lab can also be used to help take shakiness out of your aim, straighten your flicks, and make you more snappy (in a good way, not a flicking to random spots way). Also when people say that Aim Lab doesn't improve aim, very often you will see them only doing the big tasks that everyone in Aim Lab plays (gridshot, sixshot, spidershot, etc) and not actually working on specific scenarios to help improve their aim. Lots of people I see play Aim Lab fall into the trap of only grinding gridshot, then even after getting good scores don't see improvement in their in game aim. If you actually want to improve your aim you really do have to start finding ones that focus more on precision and having good mouse control, rather than just flicking your mouse around your screen a shit ton trying to hit giant ass targets, 5x the size of a player's head. You will find much more success if you are playing scenarios like 1w6ts, twoshot, sixshot, ra speedflick 20hp, twoshot narrow, etc.

I like to think of it like this; aimlabs builds confidence in your aim, actually playing builds the muscle memory you want.

I'm absolutely garbage at aim labs despite being immortal 2. I know people who are diamond 1 and even as low as silver who get higher grid shot scores than me. You have to apply those mechanics to in game

Everytime that I warm up for 20 minutes in aimlab and then go 20 more minutes to the practice in valorant my gameplay is just do much better that day

Aimlabs > The Range. Change my mind

I wish I found this short a while ago. I used to spam out aimlabs to try and improve at valorant, but I didn't really feel much of a difference. Recently, I've started using the features of the range to practice my strafe shooting, micro flicks, consistency, and proper peeking, and though my aim still needs a lot of work, it's been SO much more helpful than aimlabs ever was for me.

Im glad for the people that dont need aimlab, you born with natural good reflexes, some people dont, and are trash at fps, aimlab can help those people a lot. I recomend after training in aimlab, to go in the shooting range and do PREMS aswell, it helps to connect your mechanical aim with the in game mechanics, good luck with your grind.

I just started Valorant a few weeks back, and Im new to the fps genre in general. Your Omen Ultimate Guide in maps are so so so helpful. Make more!! Started at Iron, currently Im Bronze. Still learning and trying to climb

People don’t know how to use aim lab properly. Most people use it to play the fun modes like gridshot which is only helpful for refining the skills you already have. There are better modes to help with aiming training like sixshot. Don’t sleep on the other modes since that can be helpful for scenarios you find in game.

You can aim train in aim labs or kovaaks then deathmatch in valorant. I have also found success in changing sensitivity often in valorant and my aimtrainer. Been doing this for months and finally hit diamond after months of hard stuck gold. The game just feels easier after a good aim training session.

The issue is that people do shit scenarios like Gridshot and expect that somehow this will translate to them being good at killing people in game, when in reality you're one tapping huge bodies vertically and horizontally in rapid succession and in no way does that reflect an actual situation that will occur in the game. However, if you're aware of actual proper aim training and routines that are designed to improve a specific aspect of aiming like static or dynamic clicking or a weakness that might hold your aim back such as smoothness or reactivity, this in time will put your raw aim a notch above all other players. But, it will not improve your crosshair placement, positioning or game sense, and these things are more important than raw aim. You should never aim train more than you play the game itself if your goal is to get good at the game, because raw aim is just a small requirement of being good at the game compared to other aspects.

I feel like aim labs, in general, don't help you. Pros show it in there streams because they're sponsored from it

Aimlab is really just a waste of time, instead do warm up in the range and ffa will help you not only your aim but your overall mechanics of the game as well. Though some might argue but for fps games, your aim should always be complimented with your mechanics

Usually i use aim lab to get the feeling when im using new edpi then after that i practice my game sense in the game

Aimlab can be helpful if u mix it with in-game aim training

People should use valorant as a training it literally has everything you need for it (PS: you are a silly goose)

True, aimlabs is just a mini game, but the range is where you should really be training and then dms
