8/10 I feel smart lol, but very embarrassed now. I've shown mid lane sometimes. I know the importance of fog of war, but I can't stand it when no one bothers to collect a wave crashing into tower. That boggles my mind. However, I've committed the glowing mote sin myself :( Don't flame me coach :(

3:50 this is not a MINOR mistake, bad wards give bad vision. in just the examples present you cant see the 4 path cross of blue buff, only whats in blue buff, you cant see whats in river, only what has walked up from river, and more. the warding on the edge is better and WHERE/WHICH edge is important to get the most vision. Even in that rather unimportant bush, new bush, the ward placement shows that someone can walk right past the area without being shown and most champions will walk along walls and corners when making a large path click like red to blue. they will pass by without even thinking about it. without even TRYING to sneak past it.

furthermore, many stealth wards do not require bushes, everyone sweeps bushes when theyre looking to remove wards. people do not check my wards at bomb plants at dragon/baron when theyre going for a gank top/bot, only if they think we are doing the objective.

There's another exception when it comes to oick wards. You definitely should not be buying any pink wards early if you are constantly being pushed in. You wont be able to defend them and the enemy will be easily able to clear them. At that point you are just donating gold to the enemy. Sure, if they are constantly pushing you in (like perma push) then your just ngler should be coming to gank, but its solo queue and for most of us are in low elo where we cant rely in teammates making good decisions.

Hi Coach K, I have a question which to be fair is very broad but still I'd really appreciate some guidance.

I play Rakan around low emerald elo and my friend insists on playing Xayah. Oftentimes we find ourselves playing against mages and/or long range adcs against which we can't win lane as our characters can't reach them. (Think stuff like Thresh Jinx, Jinx Lulu, Cait Morgana. Very cringe)

Furthermore our jungles 99/100 times path to top because "bot has better leash" (even if we don't leash because we don't want to give up lane prio) which leads to them never ganking bot lane and leaving us weak side for 10-15 minutes straight as they will never drop camps/delay top camps to come bot.

What should I do as Rakan (or Rell because I play her a lot too) do in scenarios like these? They happen every 9/10 games and it makes me feel like unless my team wins topside and let's us catch up, the games are doomed.

Question on hitting the objectives - is it ok to hit them after theyve been secured / vision has been placed / etc? Or is it almost always a waste of time in your opinion. As an example, sometimes ive come up to grubs and team wins a fight before i get there.
