Men absolutely reflect and replay conversations. We just don't dwell on it as much and then pull up emotional baggage from it.

As a man I want to also confirm that we do do this. We just do it with ourselves. Privately. Alone. Probably in our heads, especially if other people are even slightly possibly around.

As a guy I must say I replay conversations all the time. It helps me to learn how to convey my thoughts more precisely and get the point I’m trying to make easier for me to explain clearly.

Actually, I don’t REPLAY conversations as much as I PLAN future conversations like “if they say____”, “then I will say___”. Now, to be fair, it usually starts with a PREVIOUS conversation but moves to the future. In practice to make sure I am clearly communicating and not just speaking from emotion. I want to be able to anticipate their responses. My wife often calls me out when she can tell I am doing that because I wear it in my facial expressions. She will ask, “Who are you arguing with in your head?”

Men replay conversations and interactions all the time. They just dont gossip to their friends about everything and keep most of their issues to themselves.

I replay conversations constantly. If men do it less than women is a probability yes, but to say it with complete security that men don't do it is simply ignoring several aspects of men's behaviour

I ALWAYS rerun conversations I've had. I havent spent 30 minutes thinking about sex and sports since I was in middle school.

My friend taught me a valuable lesson related to this. I opened up to him about some personal/work related issues. He sat, kept eye contact and listened. After he said, 'sounds like you're feeling sorry for yourself. Stop complaining about what people have done to you and start thinking about how you're going to move forward'.

I'm a 38 year old man, I replay conversations and situations over in the brain/head all the time. That's how I learn and overcome things, and it's also how I calm down or keep myself from doing or saying something stupid later on. Yes we are forward thinking, but we are also reflective.

I'm a woman and I don't really necessarily replay a ton of conversations in my head, *unless* something was said that bothered or worried me a lot about the interaction. And I need to figure out if I should stop dealing with a person or speak to them about what they said to me.

What I do think about a lot is my to-do list of neverending things.
