My family and I were just eating Thanksgiving lunch (yes lunch not dinner), and my weird liberal aunt that only ever shows up to family reunions for free food started talking about “the Native American heritage” and “the terrible history of Thanksgiving” blah blah blah. Everyone went quiet, my grandpa glanced up from his plate, and said “Kate, please shut the fuck up.” then went right back to eating 😂. She got up and left right after dinner lol. Love you grampa.

It's a celebration of the Pilgrims and natives cooperating, which did happen. But also, a stronger tribe took your land. Many stronger tribes had taken the land of many weaker tribes, but this new tribe looks different, so it's a problem now. That's called anti-white racism.

And like others said before, the Pilgrims didn't have the numbers to kill whole villages of natives. In fact, there are true stories about Pilgrims being slaughtered by natives. This is bullshit! The natives AND the settlers BOTH celebrated TOGETHER with a meal. Yes, a “village” was killed, but the natives and settlers made a deal to help each other kill a RIVAL tribe. The settlers agreed because they would not survive the winter without help from the natives. And the natives were willing to help the settlers IF they assisted in getting rid of the other tribe. The agreement was made and then the following POSITIVE outcome for both of these parties was celebrated with the first Thanksgiving. These chicks are deliberately leaving a lot out of the story. Hey, since they aren’t going to partake in the festivities…..well…if that causes there to be more food and drink available for me and my family - then so be it!
