Very good advice not having to do windmills fast, at my age 74, throwing powerful strikes all the time causes joint problems, Many years ago Mr Mcsweeney recommended 30 reps of strikes, the first 10 or so I concentrate on technique, and seeing the target, the last 10 I do at about 70 percent speed and power, works for me,

Well Tex, we generally don't need techniques that work on Martial Arts Masters. More than likely it will be a drunk or stoned person with little to no skills but, plenty of courage all be it liquid or chemical. I am with you. You need some basic skills. The more basic the better in my book. You should have hit Old Bob in the groin😀
